Happy Holidays from Airdrie 8th Street Dental

Happy Holidays - Airdrie 8th Street Dental

We would like to express our thanks and sincere appreciation for every patient who has walked through our office doors. As a dental clinic in Airdrie, we feel truly blessed to be able to help our communities achieve a healthy smile, and we genuinely look forward to seeing you return for your follow-up visits in the new year!

With the holiday season upon us, it’s a time to rejoice with our families and friends. However, it can also be a time for dental problems if you’re not careful. Here are four tips to keep your smile healthy during the holiday season:

1. Watch your Sugar Intake

As a dental clinic in Airdrie (or anywhere else!), we won’t fail to remind you how sugar is terrible for your teeth during cleaning sessions! It can cause cavities, which can be amplified during the holiday season.

Try to keep sugary foods and drinks to a minimum during the holidays. Of course, enjoy yourself, but remember that moderation is vital. Your smile will thank you in the new year.

2. Brush and Floss

Especially important if you’re going to be indulging in those sugary treats. Don’t ignore brushing and flossing; this is a habit you should never let up on, regardless of what season it is!

3. Drink Plenty of Water

Water helps to wash away food particles and bacteria from your teeth; this will assist with good dental hygiene. Of course, it’s not a supplement for brushing, flossing, and regular checkups, but it will help — especially during the holiday season.

4. Stock up on Dental Products

If you need a unique way to spruce your Christmas gift-giving this year, think of providing dental products for your loved ones: we have dental floss, toothbrushes, and even toothpaste with several flavours. Offering a loved one such a gift can assist them with improving their oral health in the new year and beyond!

Ohhh Dentis-Tree!

As the leading dental clinic in Airdrie, we offer general and cosmetic dentistry services to help keep your smile looking great. So if you’ve stuffed yourself silly this holiday season and feel you require a check-up, come down to Airdrie 8th Street Dental. We’re open six days a week (except Sundays), accepting emergency and walk-in appointments for your convenience.

We’re also taking on new patients in the new year, so get in touch with us to book an appointment!

From all of us at Airdrie 8th Street Dental, we wish you a happy and healthy holiday season!
